While this blog title resembles another blog, it's actually Latin for "The Unknown Advocate." Times being what they are, I've separated my personal and political musings. This anonymous forum is dedicated primarily to civil discourse of politics, "CHANGE," and current events (hosted from a conservative perspective). In keeping with the Latin title, I've created a Latin motto:
"atramentum cogitabundum advorsum asinum batillum" [which is translated in a footnote buried deep in the archives]
How President Obama Will Treat Reporters Who Ask Legitimate But Inconvenient Questions

One of my friends recently commented that Obama seems to have problems with speaking unless there is a telepromter in front of him. I find it interesting that he'd have a news conference when he had to know those questions would be asked!! Time will tell, I guess, how business as usual will be handled! Again...that saying about power corrupting (I mess up metaphors so won't try here)and absolute power, corrupting absolutely...I think is very true!!! WSL
WSL, I have noticed the same thing. He stammers and stumbles when not on script. I think it may be because he is strategic in every way. He is a very political "creature" so he weighs every word. This "Blago" mess is very real. I think he will come out of it okay, but it keeps him off his game. He needs a distraction and the Warren choice to speak has provided him a "safe, strategic distraction" as the year comes to a close.

WSL,
